Full obituary was published March 17 and can be found at passages.mb.ca Cremation has taken place and Divine Liturgy in celebration of Mike's long life will take place Saturday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir and Olga Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. At this time there will also be a remembrance of the life of his son, Father Deacon Paul Humniski who passed away March 11, 2012, obituary published March 13. Mike's last home was 2 West, Riverview Health Centre and he was grateful for the care he received. A project to provide sensory stimulation to improve the quality of life for 2 West residents is being created there in his memory. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to Humniski SNOEZELEN 2 West Project, c/o Riverview Health Foundation, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
